Patient Reported Outcomes for Muscle Cramping
Muscle cramping is an especially bothersome symptom in patients receiving dialysis. New evidence suggests that hemodialysis patients feel that muscle cramping should be priority area for development of new treatments. (1,2) However, before new treatments can be tested, we need to develop measures to evaluate whether cramping improves or not with new therapies. This project focuses on the development of measures to evaluate cramping in dialysis patients.
