KHI Monthly Mixer: Utilizing Patient Advisory Boards to Accelerate Innovation

Kidney Health Initiative continues an important discussion on Patient Advisory Boards at a virtual monthly on October 23, 2023, from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. EDT. This builds on a project led by the KHI Patient and Family Partnership Council at the 2022 virtual Stakeholder Meeting and the 2023 Annual Stakeholders Meeting.

The upcoming virtual discussion will focus on: 

1. Bridging the trust gap between the community and institutions on clinical research. 
2. Introducing the concept of professional advocacy. 
3. Discussing the ethics of patient partnerships. 
4. Highlighting the importance of community health workers and establishing trust with clinical trials.
