An Introduction to the State of Kidney Precision Medicine

June 20, 2023

Join the KHI Community on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, at 4:00 pm ET for a discussion on the State of Kidney Precision Medicine. Hosted by KHI Member, Kidney Research Institute at the University of Washington, this virtual discussion brings together small and large industry executives, scientists, physicians, academia, and patient advocates across the broad diagnostic, therapeutic, regulatory, biologics, data, and advocacy landscape through the Kidney Precision Medicine Project (KPMP). The presentation highlights how far precision medicine has advanced kidney research to prime discussions on what is needed from KPMP to build, scale, and industrialize new treatments and therapies.

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe how KPMP uses cutting-edge science to address real-world public health problems in kidney disease.

  2. Identify the ways that organizations (e.g. industry, academia) can collaborate with KPMP to advance treatments and therapeutics for patients.

  3. Register to attend the upcoming KPMP Industry Roundtable, designed to let KPMP hear from you (e.g., what's working, what's not, and what's needed to enable the healthcare system to deliver the right treatment to the right patient at the right time).
