Pesh Patel is the Founder and CEO of A Kidney Life. Pesh is a former hospitality executive with over three decades of hospitality and real estate experience. He utilized his deep knowledge of the industry along with relationships cultivated through the years for multiple projects in the US and internationally. On October 3rd, 2023, Pesh launched A Kidney Life. He was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) in 2017 and received a kidney transplant on August 7, 2018 after 15 months on dialysis. The foundation of A Kidney Life is a weekly newsletter aimed at raising awareness, education, and advocacy for those living with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) as well as pre and post organ transplant patients, mental health and promoting an overall healthy lifestyle for everyone. Pesh also has a podcast, Talk Kidney to Me, that can be found where you listen to your favorite music and podcasts. Currently, Pesh serves on the Board of Directors of the National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana, on multiple advisory boards for the National Kidney Foundation, Ambassador for the American Kidney Fund, and Volunteer for LOPA (Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency). In addition, he is a consultant for Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Delorean AI, Eledon Pharmaceuticals and Vera Therapeutics.
