Anne Catherine Rohall-Andrade

Anne has practiced disability and healthcare law for 25 years, advocating for patients and their support networks on Capitol Hill and with federal agencies. After law school, she served as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, specializing in healthcare cases. During her tenure at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Anne worked as a Senior Advisor to Secretary Azar, focusing on the implementation of the Advancing American Kidney Health Executive Order. She also served as the HHS liaison for the American Society of Nephrology's KidneyX initiative.
Following her time in federal service, Anne became the Director of Federal Policy and Engagement at Mayo Clinic, where she addressed barriers to innovative kidney care, including diversity in clinical trials, health inequities, and preventive care. Currently, she serves as the Director of Public Policy at the American Kidney Fund, continuing her advocacy on behalf of patients with kidney disease. As a Living Kidney Donor to her teenage daughter, Anne combines her personal experiences with her professional expertise to drive meaningful public policy changes.
