ASN Biography
I am committed to supporting development of novel solutions to enhance the lives of people living with kidney disease.  As Executive Director, Global Medical Strategy (Nephrology and Immunology) at Otsuka, I lead a team of Medical Directors responsible for the development of medical strategy, scientific communications and evidence plans for Otsuka's marketed and investigational drugs.  Prior to Otsuka, I held positions of increasing responsibility over seven years at Bayer culminating in a role as Global Integrated Evidence Lead for the kidney franchise.  Earlier in my career, I managed Phase II-IV clinical trials at Medpace and served as a Medical Science Liaison at Boehringer Ingelheim.  Originally from Toronto, Canada, I earned my BA in Psychology at York University.  I subsequently completed my MA and PhD in Biological Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Neuroscience at the Medical University of South Carolina.  I am a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the International Society of Nephrology.  Outside of professional commitments, I serve local non-profits in the Cincinnati area including as a Board Member for the Ohio Alleycat Resource and volunteer for the National Kidney Foundation.
