Alain is a former Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs at Pfizer with over 30 years of experience in clinical research, medical affairs and business development. He has led clinical programs and consulted for companies as well as FDA across a wide range of therapeutic areas including genomic health, drug delivery, infectious diseases, neuroscience, oncology, cardio-renal and pulmonary medicine, resulting in the successful filings and launches of several innovative new medicines in rare diseases and the hematology space where gene therapies are setting a new standard of care. He is trained and experienced in building and leading cross functional clinical/medical teams, as well as managing partnerships in medicine, drug development and product launches. He has a PHARMD with a broad therapeutic exposure, and a PhD in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Medicine as well as medical certifications in clinical research, genetics, gene therapy, immunology and vaccines from HMX. He is currently a consultant at HCC.
