KHI's Patient and Family Partnership Council Call for Applications

The Kidney Health Initiative (KHI) is calling for applications to serve on the KHI Patient and Family Partnership Council (PFPC).

Patients and their care givers/care partners are at the heart of the KHI mission. To further patient involvement in KHI, the PFPC partners with KHI Board of Directors and staff to advise and make recommendations on member project proposals, KHI projects and overall efforts of KHI so that the patient's voice, experience, and involvement is meaningful and effective. Members serve a three-year term starting January 1, 2024, renewable for one additional term.

The KHI PFPC will be populated with a focus on diversity and well-balanced representation by patient type which includes but is not limited to transplant recipients, dialysis patients (hemodialysis, home hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis), CKD (pre-ESKD) patients, rare disease patients, and caregivers/care partners.

Applications must be received by Thursday, August 31, 2023, by 5:00 p.m. EDT.
